Now that the hurricane winds have finally subsided, the weather is wonderfully calm and comfortable.

Students were out making music in the grass, and boys and their dogs were bonding with Nature.

An albino squirrel stood, investigating the fallen limbs for nuts that might have been dislodged, and townspeople sat on benches relaxing in the sun and comfortable temps.

OH MY will you look at that white squirrel... What a great shot. I have never seen an albino squirrel.
You got some nice pictures here. So glad things have simmered down.
love your painting too. :)
Thanks, Cris--well, they did simmer down... until last night, when, at 3:02 am, I returned to my room, after the whole building was evacuated for half an hour because the fire alarm went off! I can't believe the luck I'm having on this trip! It's comical at this point.
That albino squirrel is amazing! I don't think I've ever seen an albino anything just randomly like that. Glad the weather is treating us kinder now. It is a glorious day today, isn't it! My son's at Bowling Green. Do you visit there?
Sue, here's hoping this will be an end to all you travel troubles and you can really enjoy the rest of your tour.
I also have never seen an albino squirrel, what a great shot. I love your Nasturniums from yesterday, so delicate, take care, Kathy.
ps. to know how to type upside down, just click on the yellow (confused)smiley on my side bar, type your msg, then cut and past into your blog. Simple!.

OMG!! You do have the experiences when you are let out of te house!

It does look bucolic there except for the weird albino..
Lovely rose watercolor today bien sur Sune!

Thanks, all--the albino squirrel was amazing--I saw several of them in the quad/park area of Oberlin's campus--they are really interesting looking.
Hopefully the trips will be smooth-sailing from here on in. Wish me luck--I'm flying tomorrow to Indianapolis.
Willow, I don't go to Bowling Green, but I've added them to the list of schools I should check into, to see if they have programs that would be appropriate...I may head there in the future. Thanks for the heads up--sorry I won't meet your son!! I'll bet he's a great guy!
I've never seen an albino squirrel either. That is very neat.
