I was fortunate to be able to explore on a weekday afternoon, and other than a few fellow Nature lovers and joggers, I was pretty much alone save for two hawks in the tree canopy above.
(Incidentally, I am aware that one photo here is in here twice—blogger was NOT cooperating tonight—I tried uploading 5 times and for some reason it loaded everything backwards and this photo was in here twice each time! Who knows! I finally gave up!)

I was surfing and stumbled upon your blog. Your watercolors are lovely and photos inspiring!
Gawd one would think you get enough of communing with nature when you're at home!
But these are gorgeous shots and mustn't grumble and instead praise be that you are so kind to share all this with us! ! !
I had the same problem with Blogger this morning.
Everything went in a--backward. You CAN drag them around to where you want them.
And you can delete any extra images. Just be sure to put a bit of type under the one you want to keep so they don't all delete..
Oh la di da...
Oh, this looks like a lovely place to visit. Your sketch makes me wish I were there.
You certainly carry out an admonition of my Mother's. You "take advantage of the opportunity". Admittedly, she said that to her grandchildren in reference to using the bathroom before leaving for an outing. I love the amount of sightseeing you manage to do around your obligations. And the photographing and watercolors and you give the result to us as a gift. Many thanks.
WOW. thats one beautiful painting. WOW. And lovely photos too. wow.
Nice of others to tell you about these cool places and nice of you to share them. All this was EYE CANDY today. :))
oh and go to your photo you dont want on. Left click till you see some dots around it. making sure its on that one only and press delete on your keyboard. Works.
Looks like a wonderful place to visit and paint! So nice to have Flickr friends all over..
Your painting is absolutely delightful, Sue! Happy and safe travels to you, my friend.

Carol, thanks for the info, too! Who knew!
Ah, what gorgeous photos and what a delightful watercolor, too. I can just feel that brisk midwestern air. Enjoy your next stops along the way!
Thanks, Laura. I do enjoy my travels.
The photos and the painting is quite lovely. Autumn is such a beautiful season.
Sheer magic, Sue, which will give me a smile all day long!
Thank you,

Wonderful memories! I believe that wood walkway is new...well, if you count at least 20 years old as new. So glad you had good weather and time to enjoy it!
Thanks, Sharon, Merisi and Jeanette!
