"Stop and smell the roses" (-Proverb)

A sepal, petal, and a thorn
Upon a common summer's morn,

A flash of dew, a bee or two,
A breeze

A caper in the trees, --
And I'm a rose!

(-Emily Dickinson)

I'll be off to Walla Walla, Washington today—have a great Tuesday, all!

Love Chihuly's work...saw a documentary about him and his installations years ago...fascinating. Thanks for the reminder to stop and smell the roses...we are all so busy most of the time!

Oh a rose is a rose but when Sue paints it, it is a GLORIOUS ROSE. Lovely paintings.
Enjoy your Tuesday too in Walla Walla. Love the name. :)

Love these delicate roses and thought your post on Chihuly was brilliant - not come across his work before. Came from Merisi.
