As great as Valentine.

Don’t you think it's lovely that we have a tradition inviting us to commemorate hearts, love, flowers, chocolates, sweetness and frivolity?
I do.

Have a glorious Valentine’s Day, everyone! Enjoy the whole Valentine weekend!

O M G ! ! ! !
LOVE that photo!!!
hope you're making it into cards etc. on your Zazzle!!
What a sweet bird painting. They look just like that feeding their babies. and Yes that IS a lovely photo. Very good photography.
Have a wonderful weekend. I bet your house will smell of lovely floral scents all weekend. :))
PS. I should have read what you wrote on the painting first. Male feeding female. Isnt that sweet.
That bird painting is so lovely! :)
I, too, love the bird painting. We, too, are big bird feeders (not feeders of big birds)! Happily the siskins have come back again. They seem to disappear from our feeders in the winter. We also have plenty of Goldfinch and they are like little clowns with their red faces. We have just bought one of those bird watching telescopes and it's been such fun seeing them so close up.
Valentine's Day. At just past midnight Jim brought me his present and home made card. 6 Cadbury's cream eggs and a red candle with gold hearts painted on it. How romantic. Ihave to say I've already eaten one of the eggs!
xxxx
Where do you come up with these on-the-money quotes?! I love the Viorst quote and am tempted to come up with my own "Love's much nicer to be in than ..."s!
PS I love the Sargent book; don't have that Bonnard one--yet!
Happy Valentine's Day to you and your Sweetheart Joe!
Thanks, all--Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
BT, glad you are already having a pleasant celebration!
Laura, I find quotes all over the place--books, internet, things I've written down over the years, etc.
The Sargent book is one I've loved forever, and the Bonnard is new--I just got it when I learned of the NY exhibit. It's wonderful!
I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's day, Sue!
I love this post - so much fun, and not sticky sweet!

You style is very enjoyable.
