"Springtime is the land awakening. March winds are the morning yawn." (-Lewis Grizzard)

"Everything is blooming most recklessly;
if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night."

(--Rainer Maria Rilke)

The daffodils and redbud trees are already doing their thing, the tulips are poking their leafy heads above ground, rabbits are eyeing our clover, and I'm so ready for it all. Bring it on...

Happy weekend, all! (Someone has new art DVD's, and hopes to get some time in the next few days to play and learn.)

I love that opening quote, Sue! It's finally starting to feel like spring around here, since the snow melted.

Wonderful watercolor heart you submitted for Heartart. I looks almost 3-D!

Enjoy your weekend. You know we are going to want to hear all about the DVDs.

Happy to hear that spring is finally popping up around there. Its come here but winter is still trying to stop it. I think we are in the Mornings yawn right now. :)
These DVDs sound interesting. I hope you tell us about them.
Oh and I love that plate of paint. The colors are lovely almost a painting in itself.

Yup, Paris Salon d'Agriculture is just like a state fair, but without the corndogs...

wonderful to discover your blog. Have you seen the "Paris Breakfasts" blog, I think you'd like it. Best wishes, EB

Love the colors on your dish--most appetizing! Green spikes are starting to sprout up from under last fall's unraked leaves ... grape hyacinths and daffodils: purple and yellow, more yum!

Hahahahaha I had to laugh Sue :)
Gee the word "spring" sounds so foreign to me, yet there is a spring in my step for sure :)
Having lots of fun
Wish you were here.

I'm jealous. Here in the north east I'm thankful that the torrent we're experiencing isn't snow, but nothing is blooming and spring still seems a ways off.

Enjoy!

Thanks, all!

Larry, I heard from my sister about all the rain that came to Jersey this weekend!
