"Drawing is not an exercise of particular dexterity, but a means of expressing feelings and moods" (--Matisse)

Another entry for the Sketchbook Project.

Half a book down, and half yet to go in the sketchbook project. What a welcome lazy, relaxing day it's turning out to be. Hope to get in some sketching time this weekend. I have just a few weeks left until I head out on the road for the fall, so I'm enjoying being home, and hoping I can get this book completed before then.

Happy Weekend, folks!

Another wonderful entry in your sketch book project. I love your chairs... well all you do actually, but the chairs give such a homey feeling. So happy you are getting some down time. I can't believe Fall will be here soon. I am just getting into Summer. So enjoy the weekend and the time left at home.

As I previously said I love the painting. And now even more: I just subsribed to the Sketchbook project myself. Thank you so much for the coolest idea :)

I am absolutely loving your "not a sketchbook"!

The people who will get to check it out of the library and hold it in their hands are very lucky indeed!
