I haven't had a lot of time for sketching, but I'll try to grab a brush whenever I can. This book is so goofy, I figured it doesn't matter too much!
I'll tell you--I think EVERYONE should be in the Sketchbook Project--it's definitely fun. You don't have to draw (as you can see!) and you can collage, stamp things, cut stuff out, etc. Mine is pretty much slapped together, but I'm getting ideas for a "good" sketchbook I'll do later on good paper. (On this spread, you can see where the paint actually bled through the binding. tsk, tsk, tsk...)

This is a lot of fun! I've received my sketchbook from the project, but haven't yet started to work on it - thanks for the inspiration!

So happy to see your fun!
I saw the sketchbook project on your blog a couple of weeks ago and joined in too. Today I did my first sketch. What a great idea!! You give me lots of them.
Amy, I'm so glad you're doing it, too! Excellent!! I know you'll do good things!
Jeanette, I think you should, too!
Your fun is inspiring me!
The Dr. Suess quotes made my day! Somehow I missed out on him ...
And, like everyone else, you are really inspiring me to get out a sketchbook ... the impulse has become nearly irresistible.
Oh, DO it, Laura!
Thanks, people. You're kind--this book is pretty funny. It's so buckley and smeary--but I'm really enjoying it.
