I do quite a lot of traveling, but I never cease to be in awe of the views from an airplane. Just look at those shapes and billowing puffs of white! They almost look like skyscrapers to me, lining up on the horizon. Nothing like a window seat.
So far, I went from temperatures in the 90's to temps here in Ithaca, NY that were in the 50's today. I'm glad I brought a coat along with me for the ride.

This sweet little guy greeted me as I left Ithaca College today, and I had to capture him so I'd remember him as a good harbinger of things to come on my travels this year.
Once I have some free moments, I'll grab that paintbrush and get some sketching in...soon, I promise!

Hope you have time to enjoy Ithaca. Friends were there for a wedding last week and said it was gorgeous up there.
It is a beautiful area, Chris--the Finger lakes region. I won't be here too long, and I hear rain's predicted tomorrow, but I'll be in some gorgeous territory for lots of trips, so I'll do my best to soak it all in. Thanks!
The clouds are lovely. The Turtle fountain is awesome. I hope you have safe travels and no fire alarms at night. lol
Thanks for the well wishes. You will never believe this, but con came down with a ripping cold last night so now I am hoping I will be well still on Tuesday. :( The timing stinks!
WONderful sky! Happy Travels, Sue! xx
(I'm still giggling over your story about the priest coming for dinner)
I have one word: Serenity!
Thank you for sharing,
Irina
Willow, I still laugh when I remember that, too.
Irina, that's kind of what I think when I see skies like that, too.
PAINT the turtle!
he/she would make a good addition
I think I should have you book my tickets...I consistently procrastinate :(

Very nice, love cloud shapes, too. I've see Puff the Magic Dragon, Mickey Mouse, and I love those lenticular clouds that look like space ships.

Bon voyage! And I envy you those 50 degree temps!
Clouds are one of the most relaxing things to look at. I bet you will paint something beautiful thinking about them. Have a safe trip and I can't wait to see more sketches.
