What a relaxing weekend this is turning out to be:
I visited with a friend of mine for a nice dinner last night, for a belated celebration of her birthday. We drank some, ate some, and talked a lot. I got out into the great outdoors today; watched some insane basketball games; and did some sketching.
I'm still tackling flowers and trying to concentrate on just giving my interpretation of images. For whatever reason, flowers are always pretty easy for me; I feel as if they're sort of my fall-back images. That's ok: it's all good practice.
Tonight, Joe and I ventured outside and took photos of la bella luna: it really was amazing! Did you see it? Here it is through the tree branches off our back deck. Whenever I look at the moon, it always makes me think of Moonstruck. ("Cosimo's Moon!")
Looking forward to this week, since it will be the first real days of spring! Enjoy the rest of this beautiful weekend.

Your paintings are beautiful and no, I didn't get to see the moon as we are totally overcast.
we couldnt see the moon either tonight. To cloudy. But I can see these lovely paintings. You do such beautiful work. Nice you got to do all you wanted to do this weekend and its only half over. :))
Beautiful sketches, Sue! We didn't think to look at the moon until close to eleven last night and it looked like...a full moon. I guess you had to see it much earlier for it to be the "super" moon they were talking about on the news.
Glad it's been a great weekend!
Your flowers are so delicate, beautiful!
I did not see the moon.
Somehow, I forgot to look.
Thanks, all. That moon was amazing! I wish you'd all seen it!
Ohhhhh

Love them Sue :)
